For this quarter’s project, you will be required to analyze ONE book or movie. You choose which book to read or movie to watch, but it must be at your reading level and age appropriate. You must do a 5-7 minute oral presentation for your book/movie share.
Bring something from home that you feel represents the book/movie explain how the object you have chosen relates to the book.
If you were a Hollywood movie director making a movie of the book or a remake of the movie, what actors would you choose to play the characters in the book/movie? What changes would you make to the book/movie? Explain why you would choose those actors and make those changes.
Make a soundtrack for the book/movie by presenting three different songs that relate to your book. (You cannot use music from the movie’s soundtrack. You have to choose your own music.) Explain how those songs relate to your book/movie.
You can create your own ideas for your presentation. For example, you could recreate a scene from the book/movie in a video or puppet show and explain its importance to the plot. You must have approval before you start your project.
